Whooshkaa - Audio, music and podcasts

Use this guide to learn how to embed an audio file on your school website using Whooshkaa.

To add an audio file to your webpage, you will first need to upload it to Whooshkaa then use the script component to embed it on the page.

Audio file examples include original school music, school podcasts, and more.

Before you start

Step 1: Navigate to Whooshkaa

  • Go to Whooshkaa and locate the audio file you want to add to your webpage.

Step 2: Copy the embed code

  • On your audio file, select the Embed show button from the bottom left corner. This is beside the Edit button.

  • A dialogue box will open, select How to embed it.
  • Select copy embed code.

Step 3: Add the embed code to your webpage

  • Now you have the Whooshkaa code copied, you can go and edit the webpage you want to add the audio file to.
  • Follow the instructions to add the Script component to your page.
  • In the Script component, you will paste in the embed code copied from Whooshkaa.
  • Select the tick on the top right corner to save your changes.

Step 4: Publish your changes

  • For changes to be updated on your live school website you will need to publish the page
