Carousel

Use this guide to add and edit your carousel.

Step 1: Log in to AEM

Log in to Adobe Experience Manager using the more simpler method;

  • Select Log in drop down towards the top right corner.
  • Select Edit this page which will directly open the page you wish to edit.

or use the traditional method;

  • Log in to Adobe Experience Manager and select Sites.
  • Your school's home page will already be selected.
  • Select the icon to the left of Home. The tick will appear and your selection will turn blue.
  • Select Edit in the menu bar that appears across the top of the screen. 

Step 2: Add Carousel component

  • Select Drag components here then the plus icon.

Step 3: Edit your carousel component

  • Select Carousel component then the spanner icon.
  • Select Add to insert images in the Carousel image(s)
  • Please note: You will need to add minimum 4 images and maximum 10 images. 

  • In the Image path field, select the tick icon to navigate through your assets to your school's album folder where you have previously saved your images.

  • Once you have found your image, select the icon to the left of the image name. The tick will appear and your selection will turn blue. You may also choose to select more than one image.
  • Please note: You will need to select the images inside the folder. In case, if you select the folder your gallery will not show the images. 
  • Select the Select button in the top right. 

  • Enter the alternative text for your image into the Image Caption field. See the Image guidelines for more information on alt text.
  • Select the Add button to insert more images. You will need to add alt text for each individual image. 
  • Select the bin icon to remove an image.
  • Select the arrows and line icon on the far right to move your images. You can drop and drag your images to reorder them.
  • Select the tick on the top right of the pop-up to save the settings. 

Publish your changes

  • For changes to be updated on your live school website you will need to publish the page
