Delete a page

Use this guide to delete a page on your website. 

Please note:

• Deleting is a permanent operation and cannot be undone. 
• Please consider just unpublishing the page instead.
• If deleting a parent page, all underlying child pages will also be deleted. 
• Associated Assets (images and documents) will not be deleted.
• Only an Approver can delete a page.

Before you start 

Before you delete a page, it must first be unpublished. Learn how to: 

• unpublish a page, as an Author
• unpublish a page, as an Approver.

Step 1: Navigate to Home

• Log in to Adobe Experience Manager and select Sites.

• Your school's home page will already be selected.

Step 2: Delete the page

• Navigate through your web pages to the page you want to delete.
• Once you have found your page, select the icon to the left of the page. The tick will appear and your selection will turn blue.

• Select Delete in the menu bar that appears across the top of the screen.

• If you don't see Delete, select the ellipsis in the menu bar. Select Delete from the drop-down option. 

• If you still don't see Delete it is because you are an author. You will need to request the page to be deleted by an approver.

• Select Delete in the pop-up to confirm you want to delete the page. This operation cannot be undone. Deleting is a permanent operation.
