Keyboard shortcuts

Use this guide to learn about the keyboard shortcuts available in the Actions toolbar.

Actions toolbar

The Actions toolbar is activated when you select a page or asset. It has a number of keyboard shortcuts to make working easier.

Sites keyboard shortcuts

Edit (e)

• Use the E key to edit a page.

Properties (p)

• Use the P key to open Properties to edit the page title or the metadata description.

Copy (ctrl + c) or (⌘ + c)

• Use the Ctrl key on Windows or the ⌘ key on a Mac plus the C key to copy a page.

Move (m)

• Use the M key to move a page.

Ellipsis

• The ellipsis appears when users view Adobe Experience Manager on a small screen. 
• Select the ellipsis to reveal hidden tools.

Delete (backspace) or (delete)

• Use the Backspace key on Windows or the delete key on a Mac to delete a page.

Unselect (escape)

• Use the Esc key to unselect a page.

Assets keyboard shortcuts

Properties (p)

• Use the P key to open Properties to edit the file name in assets.

Edit (e)

• Use the E key to edit an image.
• Note that this option will not be available if you have a document selected.

• The ellipsis appears when users view Adobe Experience Manager on a small screen. 
• Select the ellipsis to reveal hidden tools.
