Navigate to the page that houses the URL you want to change.
Select the icon to the left of the page name. The tick will appear and your selection will turn blue.
Select Move in the menu bar that appears across the top of the screen.
Step 3: Edit the URL
When renaming a page both Page title after move and Page name after move fields should be changed.
The page title is used for the navigation menu and main heading within the page.
The page name is used for the page URL.
Only use lower case letters, numbers and hyphens in the page name. Other characters – like spaces, question marks, percent signs, commas and ampersands – will cause issues.
Select Next button to continue.
Step 4: Select destination
Navigate to the parent page of your content page.
Select the icon to the left of the page name. The tick will appear and your selection will turn blue.
If the option is available, select Move in the top right and continue to Step 5.
Otherwise, select Next where you will confirm if pages linking to your page should be adjusted and republished.
Make sure all available boxes are selected.
Select Move to continue.
You have successfully edited the URL of your page.
Troubleshooting
If the option to Move page does not appear you may be trying to move a Must have page that cannot be moved.
