Order pages

Use this guide to reorder pages on your website.

Features

  • Approvers have permissions to reorder pages, however Authors do not.
  • Use List View, to easily reorder using drag-and-drop.
  • To place a page on a different level (column) you will need to use Move.

Step 1: Log in

  • Your school's home page will already be selected.

Step 2: Find the page you want to reorder

  • Locate the page you want to reorder. 
  • Change the view layout to List View.

Step 3: Drag-and-drop to reorder your page

  • Click on the vertical selection bar (10 dots) to the far right of the page. The row is now highlighted and the cursor changes to an open hand.
  • Drag the page to a new position in the list. Remember to drag your mouse while keeping the button pushed down, then release the button to drop the page in the new location.

Step 4: Publish your changes

  • For changes to be updated on your live school website, you will need to publish the page
  • You will also need to publish the parent page, such as 'Learning at our school' in the above example, so the navigation is updated for all pages in the section.
