Promote School Counsellor and School Psychologist Recognition Day

School Counsellor and School Psychologist Recognition Day recognises and celebrates the unique role our school counselling service staff play in supporting students, families and schools.

On Friday 8 November 2024, we celebrate School Counsellor and School Psychologist Recognition Day. 

The theme for 2024 is ‘Little Moments, Lasting Change’.  Every day, our school counsellors and school psychologists provide little moments of listening, understanding and connecting that have supported students, families and staff to notice their needs and strengths, persevere and grow.

Resources

The School Counselling and Psychology Association of NSW has some great resources to help celebrate this occasion. The 2024 resource pack contains:

• a website banner
• an email signature
• a Zoom background
• five options for ‘thank you’ posts for social media, that can also be used as cards to give to your school counsellor/school psychologist
• a message for your school newsletter or website.
