School plan

Use this guide to add your School Plan to your website.


The component:

Before you start

Schools generate their three-year school plan using the School Planning and Reporting Online (SPaRO) application.

It is important to make sure that the school Principal has uploaded the current school plan file onto SPaRO, which is available to schools through the My Applications tab in staff portal.

If you have a SPaRO enquiry, please email or contact Strategic School Improvement area on 02 7814 3853.

Step 1: Edit the School planning and reporting page

  • Select About our school.
  • Select the icon to the left of School planning and reporting. The tick will appear and your selection will turn blue.  
  • Select Edit in the menu bar that appears across the top of the screen. 

Step 2: Edit your School Plan

  • Select Edit in the top right of the page. This button is next to Preview.
  • Select Drag components here found at the bottom of the page.
  • Select the plus icon.

  • Select School Plan from the Insert New Component menu. 
  • If you have already uploaded your School Plan it will populate automatically once you add the component. 

  • Drag and drop your School Plan component under the sentence Download our current school plan.

Hide old School Plan - Optional

  • Select School Plan component then the spanner icon. This is the configure tool. 

  • Select the tick on Display only the most recent School Improvement Plan. This will hide all old school plans from the School planning and reporting page. 
  • Select tick on the dialogue box to save your changes. 

Publish your changes

  • For changes to be updated on your live school website you will need to publish the page.
