Setting up google account

Use this guide to learn how to set up a google account.

Before you start

  • Make sure that your school doesn't have a google account already set up.

Setting up a Google account

  • Open a new window in Google chrome.
  • Select the Google apps icon (nine dots towards the top right).

  • Select Account.

  • Select Create an account from the top right. A new page will open.

  • Provide details related to your school, such as 
    • First name 
    • Last name
    • Username, this will be the user ID or email
    • create a suitable Password
  • Select Next.

  • Provide Day, Month, Year and Gender details.
  • Select Next.

  • Read the terms and conditions and scroll down to select I agree. 

  • Your school's gmail account will be created.
